For a client to be truly heard is one of the most healing events. We can do this through deep listening, compassion and empathetic presence.
This CPD training is designed for health practitioners who want to offer affect regulation and resilience practices for their clients. It is based on the trauma-informed research of Dr. Stephen Porges, Dr. Peter Levine, and Babette Rothschild, as well as others. The foundational principles of the training are Polyvagal-informed, using the research of Dr. Porges to develop strategies for psychological safety. The exercises are based on finely attuned body awareness practices of biodynamic craniosacral therapy.

- learn practices for better co-regulation, how to better relate to clients
- experience how to be fully present for your clients, how this affects the clinical container
- establish healthy boundaries in clinical practice, as a means to create safety
- learn resilient communication techniques to share with your clients

- take home Polyvagal-informed body awareness practices to integrate into your professional practice protocols
- enjoy self-care time out for yourself in beautiful tranquil natural surroundings
Participants will benefit from on-going learning and support:
- 3 weekly online group supervision sessions for participants
- monthly 2 hour drop-in class (Tuesday evenings at Elmfield)
